Drivers have been facing delays on the M40 this morning following a four-vehicle crash.

One lane blocked and slow traffic following the acciden on the southbound carriageway near junction 10 for Brackley and Cherwell Valley services.

One vehicle has gone into the central reservation about a mile before junction 10.

South Central Ambulance spokesman David Gallagher said staff did not attend and the accident was cleared about 9am.

An accident has also been reported on the A34 northbound at the Marcham interchange, with one vehicle leaving the road.

Mr Gallagher said one 18-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment with non life-threatening injuries after a car went into a ditch.
