Former Middlesex bowler Chas Taylor showed he can bat by smashing an unbeaten 133 in Sandford St Martin's ten-wicket win at Kimble. The home side managed a respectable 204-8, with Bob Whitehead hitting 75 and Richard Murrey taking 4-42.
Taylor then took command as opening partner Jim Howe (25no) looked on and Kimbled bowled 49 wides.
Kimble 9pts, Sandford St Martin 30 Witney Mills medium pacer Jim Skelson (5-45) and veteran Richard Tilley (4-20) joined forces to dismiss Cropredy for just 94, but the visitors were to regret conceding 31 extras in such a low score.
James Coleman then took 4-52 and Syed Zaidi 4-21 as Mills crumbled for just 82 to suffer a 12-run defeat.

Steve Schofield hit 91 and Mark Strong 52 as Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts racked up 256-5 at home to Cumnor 2nd. Left-hander Jeremy Good then hit 79 while Ian Belcher and Luke Wilkins hit 47 apiece in Cumnor's reply of 239 all out, in which Leighton James took 4-46.

Hanborough's decision to field first at Chearsley backfired when Neil Davies hit an impressive 120 not out and the home side closed on 272-5.
Davies added 112 for the third wicket with Richard Grimsdell (59) and 105 in an unbroken sixth -icket partnership with Adam Warr (62no).
In reply, Hanborough were all out for 154 off 36.3 overs Chearsley 30, Hanborough 3.
Long Marston captain Mike Lyons hit the first three balls of his side's innings for boundaries and finished with an unbeaten 72 as he steered them to a five-wicket win at home to Dinton 2nd. The visitors had rallied from 5-3 to reach 144 all out, thanks in the main to Phil Pearce's 42.
Mike Higgs then took 5-40 but no other bowler could make a breakthrough.
