THREE little piggies went missing in Wheatley today and Thames Valley Police spent the afternoon taking them back to the farm.
The Oxford Sandy and Black's, also known as the 'plum pudding' breed, decided to make a break for it and enjoyed a morning of freedom before being corralled into a garden and secured.
PCSO, James Hopkin, said: “We were called to Holton near Wheatley at about midday as three pigs had escaped from their pig sty and were running in the road, causing a hazard.
"Helped by members of the public, the pigs were eventually corralled into a garden and secured there.
"They were eating some vegetables when the farmer arrived to collect them and they are now safely back in their pen.”
