THE GRIEVING father of a child found dead in her mother’s home has pleaded for justice to be done to "help ease his pain".

Nabil Dahane's plea comes as police today made a fresh appeal and offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to conviction in the murder investigation surrounding his 20-month-old daughter.

Sarah Dahane’s body was found at her Bicester home on May 16, 2013 – a day after her mother Angela Whitworth left the country.

Oxford Mail:

The murder investigation was launched and police named Sarah’s mother as a suspect – but no arrests have ever been made.

Thames Valley Police detective superintendent Ian Hunter said today Ms Whitworth is wanted on suspicion of murder and is believed to be in Kenya.

At a press conference this morning Mr Dahane said: “Sarah's tragic loss has a profound impact on my life and I am still struggling to come to terms with it all.

Oxford Mail:

"It may never go away but perhaps seeing justice be done for my daughter may ease my pain.

"She was so beautiful, lovely and lively. Our time together was happy and precious."

He added: "It has been almost three years and I’m still looking for answers.

"Sarah was happy, thriving and used to love everyone.

"The time I spent with her, although it was quite short, was one of the best times of my life.

"This has changed my life – she was my life.

"Every day I looked forward to. Now this has changed.

“I would like to appeal for anyone who knows of Angela Whitworth’s whereabouts to speak to the police."

Senior investigating officer Det Supt Hunter said: “Sarah was a happy and thriving young child and it is clear that she touched the lives of many during her short life.

“Sarah has not and will not be forgotten.

"This investigation has been lengthy and complex, and I will make every attempt to solve this very serious crime and that is why I asking for the public’s help.

“I am appealing for any information about the whereabouts of Angela Whitworth, Sarah’s mother, who I need to trace in connection with this investigation.
