Matthew James, 47, of Greengates, The Lees, Faringdon, admitted driving without due care or attention and failing to stop after a road accident on the A420 near the London Road junction, Faringdon, on June 16 last year. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs. Banned from driving for six months.

Tracy Barton, 51, of Orchard Close, Chalgrove, Oxford, admitted speeding at 41mph in a 30mph zone on the A415 at Culham on May 16 last year. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Benjamin Barker, 31, of Barrington Close, Witney, admitted using a mobile phone while driving on the A40 at Northway, Oxford, on May 8 last year. Fined £165 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Edward Bell, 44, of Minster Road, Oxford, admitted speeding at 77mph in a 50mph zone on the Oxford Eastern Bypass on April 1 last year. Fined £335 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

Stanislaw Karolczuk, 24, of Bowmont Square, Bicester, convicted in his absence of driving without insurance in Charbridge Lane, Bicester, on May 1 last year. Fined £660 and ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

Oxford Geospatial Ltd, of Ptolemy House, Reading Road, Wallingford, convicted in its absence of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver or rider in Banbury between January 27 and February 24 last year. Fined £750 and ordered to pay a £75 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Talina Penrice, 32, of Stroud Close, Banbury, convicted in her absence of driving without insurance in Ruscote Avenue, Banbury, on July 5 last year. Fined £660 and ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

Sean Brennan, 44, of Mayfair Road, Oxford, admitted driving without wearing a seat belt in Watlington Road on April 24 last year. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Kerry Ann Scotcher, 39, of Chaunterell Way, Abingdon, admitted stealing an API fish conditioner bottle worth £6.29 from Coxwell Aquatics, in Broadway, Didcot, on November 17 last year. Also admitted breaching a 12-month conditional discharge handed to her on April 4 last year. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Joe Stanger, 24, of Lower Road, Chinnor, admitted drink-driving in Kingston Hill, Kingston Blount, Chinnor, on October 27, last year. Had 182 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80 mg. Fined £300 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.

Mark Thomas, 45, of Sandy Lane, Blackbird Leys, admitted assaulting Kevin Boyles by beating him in Gillians Park, Dunnock Way, Blackbird Leys, on September 9 last year. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

David Hetherington, 40, of Savile Way, Grove, admitted persistently making use of the public communication network to cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety on November 25 last year. Handed a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Michael McDonagh, 51, of Peregrine Road, Blackbird Leys, admitted obstructing a police officer in Peregrine Road, Oxford, on December 23 last year. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

BANBURY

Bilal Meadows, 27, of Park End, Bodicote, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B controlled drug, on January 15. Fined £40 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

Krzystof Smolem, 35, of Red Poll Close, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in High Street, Banbury, on January 16. Had 62 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 mg. Fined £405 and ordered to pay £41 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 17 months.

Michael Wall, 31, of Beech Road, Eynsham, admitted driving in the centre of Chipping Norton without third party insurance and without a licence on January 14. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £40 victim surcharge and £40 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months and had six points placed on his licence.

Dean Coulling, 32, of Hailey Road, Witney, admitted stealing an X-Box and controller worth £42.99 from Game at the Castle Quay Shopping Centre in Banbury on January 22. Also admitted stealing a DVD worth £29.97 from Matalan in Banbury on January 26, and stealing £50 worth of DVDs from WH Smiths in Banbury on February 1 and £58.95 worth of DVDs from HMV on February 3. Handed a community order with a six-month drug rehabilitation requirement and ordered to pay £29.97 compensation. Also ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Adnan Iqbal, 22, of Grimsbury Square, Banbury, found guilty of assaulting Amelia Huckins by beating her three times at her home in Carterton between October 3 and October 25 last year. Jailed for a total of 16 weeks and ordered to pay £200 compensation, an £80 victim surcharge and £650 costs. Also handed a restraining order banning him from contacting Ms Huckins.
