I WAS both impressed and intrigued by your heat source graphic on page 4 of Monday’s Oxford Mail, pointing out Oxford’s best and worst heat spots around our fair city, viewed by satellite.
I would assume the two noticeable red and yellow hot spots are in or around our local car factory, but I was intrigued to see that a brighter red dot doesn’t appear at either St Aldate’s on the eastern side of Carfax or New Road within the city centre loop on your map.
Clearly then, both city and county councils have had ‘A’ rated insulation fitted to their chambers?
Cut bills and reduce emissions?..........yeah alright!
