One person suffered head injuries in a crash involving two lorries and a car at junction eight of the M40 this morning.

The M40 southbound entry slip road was blocked and traffic forced to queue as a result of the collision.

Emergency services including the air ambulance were called to the crash at about 9.50am.

The slip road was closed just after 10am and traffic released on the hard shoulder at 11.20am but the slip road remained closed while accident investigation work took place.
