The 21-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of arson following a house fire in East Oxford has been bailed until Thursday, March 31.
Fire crews were alerted to the blaze in Morris Crescent around 11pm, on Saturday night, after neighbours noticed smoke coming from the house.
Nobody was injured in the fire and Oxfordshire County Council Fire and Rescue Service are working with Thames Valley police to investigate the cause.
The Oxford woman was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and has now been bailed.
One neighbour said she did not know the people who lived there, but confirmed the fire service arrived at about 11:30 last night.
She added that she had not be informed by police how the fire started.
Station Manager Simon Belcher said: "The quick thinking of neighbours who heard fire alarms, saw smoke coming from the building and then called fire service, was vital in ensuring that we were able to tackle this fire quickly and prevent a worse situation."
