Airline pulls out of planned flight route between Oxford and Edinburgh
Flights planned to go between Oxford and Edinburgh will not begin this spring. The Oxford Mail understands that Linksair, the airline earmarked to operate the service, pulled out.
It was reported in October that the airline had its safety licence revoked by The Civil Aviation Authority.
Jane Stanbury, for Oxford Airport, said: “At the current time there are no flights scheduled from London Oxford Airport to Edinburgh. The decision to operate flights is taken by the airline operator, not the airport.”
