A man fined for poaching at an Oxfordshire farm claimed he was "just catching a rabbit".
Colwin Price, who lives in Cardiff, was caught red-handed by police officers with a dead rabbit in his hand at Stallpitts Farm in Shrivenham in December.
When he was approached by officers he said: "I was just catching a rabbit."
He pleaded guilty at Oxford Magistrates' Court last month to the offence of night time trespass with the intention of pursuing game at Oxford Magistrates.
Price was fined £155 and has had various items of equipment, such as lamps and battery packs, confiscated.
