The A40 London Road in Wheatley has now been cleared following a crash.

It is believed the incident occurred on the westbound side of the road near the B4027 Wheatley Road.

David Gallagher, a spokesman for South Central Ambulane Service, said they were called at 7.05am but were told by Thames Valley Police they were no longer needed at the crash.

He said: "We were called to a two vehicle road traffic collision.

"Thames Valley Police had got there before us and they said one patient had minor injuries and the other was unhurt.

"We were told we were no longer required."

Connie Primmer, a spokesperson for Thames Valley Police, said: "Police were called at 7.05am today to A40 in Wheatley.

"There was a collision between two vehicles. We are still at the scene and it appears no one has been injured."
