RAW sewage is overflowing from a drain near a block of flats in Barton.
Waste from Hillside Court, in the estate, has been found flowing through the street into Taggs Gate and near the Barton Neighbourhood centre due to the drainage system for the flats being unable to cope.
According to residents, not enough is being done to solve the problem, which they say is “totally unacceptable”.
It comes after the same issue occurred in April last year.
Thames Water said the pump was a privately owned one and it was not their responsibility.
Oxford City Councillor for Barton Van Coulter said: "I have been told it's a malfunctioning pump that is causing the problem.
"Buses are coming down the estate and splashing it all over. Something needs to be done about this.
"It's difficult to get someone to make sure the problem is resolved. It's completely appalling."
