A band of horses caused trouble on the A4074 this morning after escaping from a field in Benson.
Thames Valley Police were called to the incident by the Elm Bridge roundabout at around 6.05am and it took officers almost an hour to track down the owners and secure the horses back in their field.
The horses' escape had been causing a considerable build-up of traffic on the A4074 but it has now been cleaed.
