PUPILS at Rose Hill Primary School showed off their singing voices, dance moves and hula-hooping skills as they took part in Rose Hill's Got Talent.

The talent show at the school in The Oval gave youngsters from all years the chance to let their creative sides out.

Ruby Harris, seven, won the competition with a street dance performance.

Her mum, 22-year-old Shannon Harris, said: "Two years ago we saw dancers from KC's School of Dance in Blackbird Leys. Ruby said 'that's what I want to do'. She started going to their classes.

"I'm really proud when I see her dance, she does so many competitions outside of school. Each time it's amazing seeing how far she's come."

Ruby, who went home clutching a gold medal, said she wants to become a dance teacher when she's older.

Pals Nayla El Hosney, Miley Purcell and Ahava Asante, all aged seven, sang together whilst Ruby Harris, also seven, produced a vigorous dance routine to impress her fellow pupils.

Ella Norland, 11, also showed off her singing voice and six-year-old Zac Emanuel was a hula hoop star.

There was also stand-up comedy on display as Adil Hayat, five, got the whole school laughing with a range of knock-knock jokes.

The school will also be hosting a World Book Day event on Thursday, March 3 and an Easter Hat Parade on Thursday, March 24.

Other events this year include a May Day celebration on Friday, May 6 and a Summer Fair in June.
