TRAFFIC was brought to a standstill on the A34 today after a lorry jack-knifed near the Milton interchange.
Police closed the southbound carriageway following the accident at 7.30am.
Paramedics attended the accident between the Milton and Marcham interchanges but a spokesman for South Central Ambulance said the driver of the lorry escaped injury.
Police were still working to remove the lorry from the carriageway at 9am and drivers are being advised to seek alternative routes.
