A pedestrian has been taken to hospital following a collision with a car in Kidlington.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash in Oxford Road shortly after 9am this morning.

South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman Michelle Archer said ambulance crews had treated the pedestrian for their injuries and taken them to hospital.

No further details about the pedestrian or the nature of their injuries are available at this stage.

The road is open again following an earlier closure.
