STAFF from Oxford’s Covered Market took time out to teach customers how to create festive wreaths last week.
As part of the market’s late night opening last Thursday florists from The Garden made Christmas decorations using moss, ivy and holly.
Florist Ellie Browne said: “This was the first time we’ve done this but it was really good. Everyone made really good wreaths. Maybe next year we will have a bigger class. We had six people but could have sold double the number of tickets.”
To make the wreaths, visitors used wire to bind moss into circles before adding decorations.
