RYAN Jones bagged a brace as Harwell & Hendred Under 12s retained their Oxford Mail Youth League Autumn A title with a 4-1 win against Kennington Athletic, writes PAUL LYON.
Kennington took the lead through Romeo Pali, but Guy Woolley equalised just before half-time.
In the second half, a Josh Hedges free-kick gave Harwell the lead and Jones wrapped it up with two more.
Ethan Ritchie saved a second-half penalty and then Callum Barr hit the winner as Cumnor Minors beat Summertown Dragons 1-0.
Chima Iwucchucku hit a brace as Horspath Youth Lions beat Didcot Town Youth Red 2-1, with Oliver Wilkes scoring for Didcot.
A hat-trick from Simon Sorek helped Abingdon Youth Greens to a 6-0 win against Cholsey Bluebirds.
Kian Durkin (2) and Cayce Thornhill also scored to leave them in sight of the Division B title. Summertown Spartans kept up the pressure at the top, though, with a 3-0 victory over Didcot Town Youth White, Philip Marceta (2) and Ethan West scoring.
It is very close at the top of Division C following Abingdon United’s 3-0 victory over Faringdon Town.
Dillan Grice, Andrew King and Jos Trotman were on target for United.
Bardwell remain top of the table as William Smith, Charlie Howlett and George Austin scored in their 3-1 win against Hinksey Park International.
Finlay Lilwall netted for Hinksey.
Oxford City Blues’ title hopes were dashed by a strike from Hakeem Omar which gave Oxford Blackbirds the points.
St Edmunds Royals kept up their 100 per cent record thanks to Liam Doyle’s winner against Didcot Casuals Yellow.
Abingdon United maintained their winning start in the Under 14 League with a 2-1 victory against Florence Park. Louis Kogel and Ben King were on target for United, while Jeremiah Yearwood netted for Park.
Ruben Boodell (2), Harry Benfield, Keiran Dunmore, Jo Gomersall and Connor Woodward scored for Abingdon Youth as they won 6-2 at Kennington Athletic, with Kieran Monaghan getting both Kennington goals.
Summertown Cobras beat Cholsey Bluebirds 3-2, with goals from Tom Bradley (2) and Zak Leigh.
Ollie Carr and William Thomas scored for Bluebirds.
Toby Littlewood hit a hat-trick as Crowmarsh Youth defeated Oxford City 3-1.
Lexxus Pande was on target for City.
Tommy Bleakley hit the only goal as Summertown Eagles won at Hinksey Park.
A brace from Louis Castiau-Juffkins and one from Oscar Taylor brought Crowmarsh Revolution a 3-0 win over East Oxford.
