FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze in a field in Denton which spread to nearby willow trees.
It took crews four hours to put the fire out on land next to Upper Farm Cottages from around 2pm.
Stuart Garner from the Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue service said 1,000 square metres of stubble, including hay, was on fire.
Four fire engines were called to the scene along with a specialist rescue unit, from Kidlington, and crews chopped down the three willow trees.
