WHEN Blythe Heakin woke up yesterday morning, she was expecting to get three GCSEs at most. Suffering from dyslexia all her life, school has never been easy.
But King Alfred’s Academy in Wantage did everything it could to help her take in her exams – blue-tinted glasses to help her read and special exam conditions.
And yesterday, she opened her envelope to find she had passed not three but 10. It means she has a chance to pursue her dream career as an army medic.
Blythe, 16, from Wantage said: “I’m absolutely thrilled, all the hard work has paid off.”
