A father-of-three who attacked his ex-girlfriend in a sustained early morning attack has been jailed.
Dewayne Mason denied attacking mum-of-two Jemma Cadle at her home on February 15.
But a jury of seven women and five men unanimously found him guilty of one count of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Oxford Crown Court heard Mason, 38, had gone to 34-year-old Miss Cadle's home in Warren Crescent, Headington, headbutted her, then repeatedly punched her before dragging her around by her hair.
Mr Recorder Clive Broe said Mason, of Humfrey Road, in Barton, Oxford, had carried out a "sustained assault on a woman in vulnerable circumstances".
Mr Broe jailed Mason for seven years and imposed a restraining order on him.
