FOUR men have been charged and another three released on bail following yesterday’s dawn raids across Oxford targeting the supply of Meow Meow.

More than 100 Thames Valley Police carried out raids across Oxford - as well as Banbury, Chipping Norton, Aylesbury and Ashford, Middlesex - as part of Operation Raise to cut the supply of the drug.

Ciaran Macdonagh, of Northampton Road, Oxford, was charged with one count of conspire to supply a class B controlled drug, one count of possession of a controlled drug of class A, cocaine, and one count of possession of a controlled drug of class B, cathinone derivative.

Vishal Nazar, of Danvers Road, Oxford, has been charged with three counts of conspire to supply a class B controlled drug.

James Screeton, of Willes Close, Faringdon, has been charged with two counts of conspire to supply a class B controlled drug.

All three are due to appear at Oxford Magistrates Court today.

Jivani Hussain, aged 52, of Kenilworth Road, Ashford, Surrey, has been charged with one count of conspire to supply a class B controlled drug. He is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on September 15.

Two men from Oxford, aged 48 and 39, have been released on bail until November 3 and a 30-year-old man has been released on bail until October 12.
