OXFORDSHIRE could be at risk of surface flooding today after another severe weather warning was issued.
The Met Office said the county could see thunder and lightning strikes over the course of the day.
The yellow warning will be in place until 11.50pm tonight and rainfall could be in excess of 50mm by the end of today.
The forecaster added: “The public should be aware of a significant risk of localised disruption due to surface water flooding. Lightning may be an additional hazard.”
If follows a severe weather warning issued for torrential rain yesterday, which was due to fall in the evening but arrive shortly after midnight.
