Captioning mistake on photograph of Cilla
THE caption to your photograph picturing Cilla Black with Duncan Langston (Oxford Mail, August 3) implies that Duncan was a chef at the Clarendon Hotel in 1984.
Surely the Clarendon Hotel (at No. 52 Cornmarket Street) was demolished during the 1950s to make way for the Clarendon Centre.
