FROM Bordeaux to Burgundy, The Oxford Wine Festival is set to offer people the opportunity to sample their favourite wines as well as discovering some new gems.
The festival is taking place in the Oxford Union, St Michael’s Street, on August 21 and 22.
The festival will feature different zones, including the English wine tasting room, emerging regions, old world wines and new world wines, with a wide range of talks and tutored tastings, along with live music and food stalls.
The Oxford Wine Festival will be making donations to Oxford-based charities and allowing ticket holders to choose which one they prefer to support.
Tickets cost £19.50 in advance or £20 on the day but wine tutorials and tastings should be pre-booked in advance.
