All are welcome at VJ remembrance service
TOMORROW at noon, members of the Witney branch of the Royal British Legion will gather at the war memorial on Church Green in the town for a short act of remembrance and thanksgiving to commemorate the 70th anniversary of VJ Day.
The service will be led by the president of our branch, the Rt Rev WJD Down, and we extend a very warm welcome to the people of Witney to come along and join us on this very special occasion.
