Sir – As, like Jack Davis, (Letters, July 16) we sat in the lengthy traffic jam caused by patrons trying to get to the Battle Proms at Blenheim Palace we had plenty of time to think.
Unable to reach our home in Woodstock we contemplated how this gridlock would be exacerbated if Pye/Blenheim’s plans to build 1,200 homes and an employment area were approved. And how often it would be repeated. Developers build, gain huge profits and move on – leaving the rest of us to cope.
