PUPILS at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School are expecting others to be green with envy after landing some leafy plants to brighten up lessons.
The school received a donation of plants in honour of the National Plants at Work Week campaign.
The plants were a gift from the European Federation of Interior Landscape Groups (efig) and were delivered by its chairman and vice chairman last Wednesday.
Ian Drummond and Chris Jenkin installed the plants in the old library after parents and school governor, Sophie Bale, invited them to visit the Headley Way school.
She said: “With the inclusion of more and more technology in classrooms and with big interactive whiteboards and computer suites around the school, I wanted to make sure that the children and staff had the healthiest environment to learn and play in.”
