AN ELDERLY man is being treated in hospital after being injured in a hit-and-run incident in Faringdon.
Police said the man, who is from the area and in his eighties, was in Marlborough Street near Budgens when a vehicle reversed into him between 10am and midday on Saturday.
He sustained serious hip and leg injuries and was taken to Great Western Hospital in Swindon where he has undergone surgery and is still being reated.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene or report the collision.
Thames Valley Police said they want to speak to anyone who was in Marlborough Street on Saturday morning and has any information about the incident.
