A teenage girl has been taken to hospital after being hit by a bus.
The incident happened in High Street, Oxford, shortly after 11am yesterday. South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman Michelle Archer said the girl, who was a pedestrian, was treated at the scene for head injuries then taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital. Magdalen Bridge was shut to allow ambulance crews to attend. It is not known how serious the girl’s injuries were.
