The Duke of York was given a guided tour of Oxfordshire’s Harwell scientific campus yesterday ahead of its landmark open day on Saturday.
The Duke, who is patron of the campus, was met by Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire Paul Bradstock and then walked around the facilities meeting staff and apprentices.
The campus will open its doors to the public on Saturday with 10,000 visitors expected.
