TWO forms of art combined in Didcot as dancing met sketching.
The Dancing Lines exhibition saw eight artists draw dancers over the course of a week at Cornerstone Arts in the town.
The works of art they produced will then be displayed at the same venue from September 4 until October 11.
Dancer Aimée Payton, who teaches Middle Eastern dance, was one of those who was sketched by the visiting artists, one of whom was her mother Anne.
Miss Payton, 40, said: “The exhibition was amazing. We produced so much work it was brilliant.
“We had eight artists in total and we filled the gallery full of huge pieces of artwork which was great.
“People were really fascinated by it.
“I think it is really rare to see artists working and people were enthralled by seeing the process in front of their eyes.
“It can take weeks or months to produce oil paintings but the artists were rattling out sketch after sketch.”
