TWO men died last night after the microlight they were flying in crashed at Enstone airfield.
Police were called to the scene at 7.20pm to reports the aircraft had crashed.
The pilot, a man in his sixties, and the passenger, a man in his fifties, both died.
Officers have said their next of kin had been informed.
A senior inspector from the government's Air Accidents Investigation Branch, Afandi Darlington, said: "The Air Accidents Investigation Branch deployed a team to investigate the accident late last night.
"We have been working on site since 8.30am this morning.
"Two people unfortunately died although we are not in a position to release names.
"We will recover the wreck back to Farnborough for detailed examination to see if any explanation can be found for what happened."
South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman Catherine Morrow said: "We were called at 7.16pm to the Enstone area to reports of a microlight crash.
"We sent two ambulance crews and two ambulance officers and a basics doctor.
"Unfortunately when our crews got there both adult males were both confirmed deceased at the scene."
