CERAMIC cats, chickens and dragons are just some of the exhibits on show at a Wantage museum this week.
The Vale and Downland Museum, in Church Street, is holding a temporary exhibition of the work of Didcot-based artist Cookie Scottorn.
Ms Scottorn, from East Hagbourne, trained in ceramics at the West Surrey College of Art and Design before running a pottery business making decorated tableware.
Her work is inspired by tales of Aesop and Beowulf, as well as myths and legends from different civilisations around the world.
Curator Suzie Tilbury, who has worked at the museum since January, said: “Cookie has created some amazing work, and it is so lovely to have these exhibits here open to the public.
“She has made some pretty incredible dragons, and all sorts of garden-related ceramics.”
The exhibition runs until tomorrow. Entry is free.
