TEA and tennis on the terrace will be the order of the day in Witney this summer when a new community cafe opens on The Leys.
Contractor Premier Tennis has revamped the cafe at the old cricket pavilion and has brought in new staff and a new menu.
It will also be running the nearby tennis courts with discounted prices for families and individuals to pay and play, so people can just turn up for a game.
It is hoped the tea and tennis will add to the new feel on the Leys created by the new splash park and play area Council facilities manager said: “With the splash park and the cafe and the tennis courts, the Leys is going to be fantastic – it’s really very exciting for Witney.”
The tennis facilities will include a court for people with disabilities and a practice wall.
