An inquest was opened yesterday on13-year-old Aown Doga, who died after falling into the River Thames.
Coroner Darren Salter said Aown spent Thursday afternoon playing games with friends on the river near Donnington Bridge. A doctor at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital said the cause of death was drowning.
Mr Salter adjourned the inquest until October 22.
