AN INQUEST has been opened this afternoon for 13-year-old Aown Dogar who died last week.
Coroner Darren Salter painted a picture of how Aown spent Thursday afternoon playing games with his friends on the River Thames near Donnington Bridge.
He did not go into detail about Aown ended up drowning but said a doctor at Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital had confirmed that was the cause of death.
Mr Salter adjourned the inquest for witness statements to be obtained, and said he would conclude it on October 22.
