A MAN pretending to be a store detective stole cash from an 85-year-old man.
The pensioner was walking across the Oxford Retail Park car park, Blackbird Leys, on Sunday, when he was approached by a man.
The man claimed the pensioner paid with a counterfeit £20 in store.
He asked to check the 85-year-old's other notes and then left with the victim's cash, about £90, at around 3.50pm.
The fraudster was described as white, in his late twenties to early thirties. He was wearing a tan top and had long hair tied up into a pony tail and was clean shaven.
