ART by people with brain injuries went on display for one night at Oxford’s Ashmolean Museum.
Sculpture, paintings, mosaics and textiles by 20 students in The Silverlining charity’s art group were shown on June 18 for about 200 guests.
The group meets each month at St Edward’s School in North Oxford and gives its members, who have a wide range of injuries, a chance to communicate with one another.
Nicola Cale, who works for the charity, said: “We’ve got people who are walking and talking but find it difficult to do the things they did before, and we’ve got others who need a lot of help to do the simplest things.”
