A suspected arson attack targeted a fire service training vehicle, police said.
The vehicle was parked outside Bicester fire station in Queens Avenue on Saturday at 11.30pm when it was believed to have been set on fire.
The flames then spread to a second training vehicle and to the shutters of the fire station.
Initial reports from the emergency services at the weekend said two cars had been set alight.
The building’s roller shutters were badly damaged, as were the two training vehicles parked outside, but the inside of the station was not heavily affected.
