TWICE this week I’ve had to go to the JR. First with a husband with suspected broken wrist on Tuesday evening.
Everything was calm and helpful. OK, we had to wait but the children were whisked away to be dealt with elsewhere. Thursday was a repeat visit for husband, great service and care, no broken bones, disappointment from grandchildren who wanted a pink plaster on the old man!
I also brought in an elderly relative with an appointment in the falls clinic. Neatly tucked away from the madding crowd, both she and I were delighted with the care and attention she received, a complete MOT.
Even more so the staff in the department dealing with dementia; they were extraordinary. Cheerful greeting, putting all at ease, even tried to drag me in when I’d been sitting there some time. A big thank you to all of you.
