A MINI heatwave is set to hit Oxfordshire this week with temperatures set to reach 30 degrees on Wednesday.
The Met Office is predicting highs of 27C tomorrow and 30C on Wednesday, with temperatures set to stabilise towards the end of the week and into the weekend.
The average for June is 18.6C and 21C for July.
Spokesman for the Met Office Dan Williams said: "We usually see a drop in temperature when air comes from the North and usually see temperatures stabilise when they come for the West.
"But what we are seeing at the moment is air coming from the South, coming over the hot countries and bring warmer air over to the UK.
"The temperature should be about 27C tomorrow and probably 30C on Wednesday. Temperatures will drop a little on Thursday and Friday but they'll still be in the mid 20s."
