POLICE believe a fire service training vehicle was set alight deliberately.
The vehicle was parked outside Bicester fire station in Queens Avenue on Saturday, June 27 at 11.30pm, when it was set on fire.
The fire spread to a second vehicle and onto the shutters of the fire station.
Initial reports from the emergency services at the weekend had said it was two cars that had been set alight.
The shutters were heavily damaged by fire as were the two training vehicles parked outside.
The inside the building was not damaged.
PC Adam Taylor from Witney local area CID said: “I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously around the fire station from about 11pm onwards on Saturday."
