JOHN COTTON, Conservative leader of South Oxfordshire District Council, says that it "was unfair on other towns" for Didcot to have a "champion" in the cabinet.
Can I ask if he plans on being fair to them in other ways too. Will Wallingford be getting 15,000 houses built on its doorstep?
Will one of the oldest pubs in Henley town centre be knocked down to make way for an eight-storey hotel?
It seems unfair for them to miss out.
Didcot needs someone who will look at the big picture for the town as a whole during this unprecedented period of expansion.
If other towns want to join in and spread the load, then the more the merrier.
