ARMED Forces supporters have set up stalls in Witney this morning for Armed Forces Day.
Alongside the Royal British Legion are military charity Help for Heroes and Brize Norton Military Wives Choir.
RBL community fundraiser for Oxfordshire Mark Garwood, of Carterton, said: "Today is all about celebrating what our armed forces do for this country and remembering those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
"We must remember those who gave their lives."
Celebrations in Witney are due to go on until 5pm.
Elsewhere in Oxfordshire, Bicester Carnival will see military displays including the return of the Defence Explosive Ordinance Disposal, Munitions and Search Training Regiment.
The event starts at Pingle Field at 1pm once the procession has made its way through the town.
Town Mayor Jim French will lead the procession.
As part of Banbury events, 142 Vehicle Squadron based in the town, is to be granted the Freedom of Banbury.
In Carterton, the town hall will be open and stalls representing military charities will be set up at the Market Square.
In Oxford, the day was marked on Monday when the flag at Oxford Castle was raised at a ceremony attended by senior representatives of the Armed Forces and veterans
