Residents affected by flooding had their say at a Flood Relief Channel meeting yesterday.
The Environment Agency organised the drop-in session for residents to ask questions about a proposed £125m four-mile relief channel through Oxford.
The channel will run from land near Seacourt park and ride to the River Thames at Sandford Lock, diverting water away from the city.
The event was one of five happening throughout Oxford over a 10-day period.
The next meeting will take place on Tuesday at Oxford Town Hall in St Aldate’s and the final consultation will be at South Oxford Community Centre in Lake Street on Friday, both between 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
