Ladies’ role in fighting crime
Gillian Bingham and Enid Brooks were fully engaged in the fight against crime.

Supt George Barnes invited the Press to look around the HQ and see how well his officers were doing. He announced that the detection rate in the division, which covered all areas east of Magdalen Bridge, was 46.94%, compared with 45.06% for the whole city and 27% in 1965.
