Bob Burns and Richard Crocker swapped the forklift trucks they usually drove for cycles to raise money for good causes.
The Bicester pair were cycling 600 miles from Bicester to Land’s End and back to raise money for Bicester Community Hospital and the special baby care unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital, in 1984.
Bob, left, of Villiers Road, worked for Valor Bruce, while Richard, of Rookery Way, worked at Bicester Ordnance Depot.
