A fire in a large garden shed in Turnpike Road spread to two homes on Wednesday.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the fire at 4.42pm and said the blaze was believed to have started because of an electrical fault.
A spokesman said that no-one was reported to be hurt, with damage caused only to the outside of the two houses.
Fire crews from Bicester, Kidlington, Banbury and Buckingham were called.
The fire service said a prompt call 999 call had prevented the fire causing more damage to the two properties.
