Town council results expected after vote
Election results for three vacancies in Witney Town Council’s South Ward are expected today.
Seven candidates were put forward for yesterday’s vote, which was originally due to take place on May 7.
It was put back following the death of former Witney town councillor Chrissie Curry, who died after battling cancer in April.
An election also took place yesterday for a single seat on Charlbury Town Council, for which there were two candidates. Results for this are also due to be announced today.
